PlatformAlerts and incidents

Alerts that help, not alerts that shout.

Write rules for any signal or start from 75 templates, group related alerts into one incident, page the person on call, and measure what matters with SLOs.

What makes alerting work?

Alerting turns monitoring data into action: a rule notices something wrong and tells the right person. Done badly it floods people with noise until real problems are ignored. Done well it pages rarely, groups related alerts and points straight at the evidence.

Televane evaluates rules for every signal every 15 seconds, groups related alerts into incidents, measures reliability with SLOs and burn-rate alerts, and routes pages through on-call schedules and escalation policies.

Rules for every signal

Evaluated every 15 seconds.

  • Hosts, logs, traces, missing data, synthetic checks, Kubernetes, containers, IoT devices and custom metrics
  • Composite rules — combine up to five rules with AND or OR
  • 75 templates across infrastructure, Kubernetes, APM, logs, security, databases, uptime, AI and IoT
  • Notifications to email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty and signed webhooks
Incidents in Televane with severity, status, owner and start time

Less noise

Spend attention where it is needed.

  • Incident grouping — related alerts and alert storms become one incident
  • Noise report — the noisiest and flapping rules, with suggested fixes
  • Silences and maintenance windows
  • Anomaly detection — a seasonal baseline that flags unusual behaviour (preview)

Respond as a team

From the first page to the post-incident report.

  • On-call rotations with overrides, in your time zone
  • Escalation policies that stop when someone acknowledges
  • SLOs with multi-window burn-rate alerts
  • Incident timeline, notes and a PDF report
